Silbert Realty & Management Co. is seeking a maintenance technician with a minimum of 2 years experience working in a commercial / retail building environment.
Reporting to Maintenance Dept. Supervisor, responsibilities include ability to perform light plumbing, electrical, as well as carpentry, painting, dry-wall repair, power washing and snow removal;

Must be available to handle on-call emergency services on an as-needed basis;
 
Required experience:
Building Maintenance & Repair: min. 2 years exp.
Must have a valid NJ driver’s license

Retail Leasing Specialist - 5 years' experience

Silbert Realty & Management Company Inc. (SRM) is seeking an enthusiastic experienced specialist within commercial real estate leasing and disposition to join our highly accomplished brokerage team. The professional should have a minimum of five years of commercial brokerage knowledge and be a licensed real estate salesman or broker within the State of New Jersey. SRM represents landlords in marketing commercial real estate for both sale or lease and national retailers and companies in their pursuit of growth as well as analysis of existing stores and real estate markets. In addition, the firm manages and leases numerous retail, mixed use and apartment properties throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

REQUIREMENTS:

- An active New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson License is required;
- A minimum 5 year experience in commercial real estate;
- General computer skills (Word, Excel and other Microsoft Office products);
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-starter and ability to work independently;
- Reliable transportation;
- Background check and references required;
- Bachelor's Degree;

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Identify potentially suitable companies and individuals to lease space within new construction and existing properties, as well as lease, sell and/or develop outparcels;
- Administrate, negotiate and manage specific companies accounts/requirements;
- Use market knowledge in providing a leasing strategy that outlines targeted uses within client Shopping Centers and other commercial properties;
- Canvas the specific market for prospects for assigned properties by telephone, cold calling, and in-person follow up of direct mail solicitations;
- Identify and qualify potential tenants to lease within our portfolio and as applicable to disposition;
- Initiate, negotiate and consummate leases with tenants for space at our Shopping Centers or outparcels. Identify and track exclusions and prohibitions;
- Work closely with the brokerage community to elicit their involvement in the marketing of assigned listings;
- Prepare leasing proposals and negotiate terms with tenant prospects;
- Draft and prepare Letters of Intent working cooperatively with SR VP of Retail Brokerage;
- A more detailed list of team responsibilities will be provided pending an interview.

Residential Property Superintentent - Berkeley Heights

Silbert Realty & Management Co Inc. – Warren, NJ

Silbert Realty & Management Co., a 37-year-old highly regarded real estate service provider is seeking a conscientious, hard-working Superintendent with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Superintendent. 

This superintendent is responsible for maintaining the day-to-day upkeep of 3 buildings with approximately 100-unit apartments. This is an on-site position, and an apartment will be provided for the candidate in Berkeley Heights, NJ.

Start date of the position is on or before Dec 1, 2023.

 

Responsibilities will include by not limited to the following:

  • Be able to effectively communicate with residents, staff and other suppliers or vendors to ensure smooth and safe operation of property maintenance.

  • Work with multiple deadlines, maintaining efficiency and control over projects assigned within time frames allowed and changing priorities.

  • Apartment repairs and preparation for new tenant move-ins.

  • Routine maintenance work orders requests from tenants including light plumbing, light electrical work, carpentry, and painting.

  • Performing routine maintenance around the buildings including fixing damage for windows, doors, ceilings, and dry wall repair.

  • Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries.

  • Re-painting the building areas, both interior and exterior.

  • Power washing and debris removal.

  • Snow removal assistance.

  • Emergency services as needed (may require weekends & nights).

  • HVAC experience a plus.

Assistant Property Manager

•    Assisting the Property Manager in overseeing real estate properties and tending to the needs of tenants. 
•    Arranging for building maintenance.
•    Managing bill payments and budgets.
•    Support the Move-In and Move-out process.
